The Alpine County Local Transportation Commission (LTC) is the Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA) for Alpine County. The Commission is comprised of an executive secretary and a five-member board of supervisors representing the various districts in the County. The LTC is responsible for planning the needs of the transportation system in the County, including roadways, transit, rail, aviation, and bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure.  The Alpine County LTC is responsible for maintaining the Active Transportation Plan (ATP).
